TO try and take our reader’s minds off the gloomy weather and long nights, the Lancashire Telegraph takes a look back at Haslingden’s annual street fair.
Every year the town comes together to make this day one of the highlights of its social calendar, with street performances, market stalls, face paintings workshops and fair ground rides.
The event is still as popular as ever with scores gathering to celebrate the positive aspects of the town and the chance for its artistic and creative folk to express themselves. It is usually held at the start of September.
