HERE is a view of Wellgate Clitheroe, taken in 1905.
The picture shows work to the town's Carnegie Library was nearing completion.
In the foreground is a young Mrs J.Entwistle, who went onto become the town's mayoress 55 years later.
She is stood next to undertaker and cab proprietor James Garlick.
