A tipper truck was set alight in what emergency services believe to be suspected arson.
The incident happened at the roadside on Whitecroft Road, close to Red Shell Lane, Oswaldtwistle, at around 10pm on Thursday night.
A fires service spokesperson said: "One crew from Hyndburn were assigned to a tipper truck on fire at the roadside on Whitecroft Road, Oswaldtwistle.
"Firefighters used two hosereel jets to extinguish the fire, which they believe was started deliberately.
"No one was injured but police were notified of the suspected arson and an investigation is being carried out."
