RESIDENTS and businesses in Accrington are being warned they may not have any water or low water pressure.
United Utilities have tweeted about the incident affecting customers in the BB5 Accrington area.
A spokesman said: "You may have noticed that the water is coming out of your tap slower than usual or may have gone off altogether.
We’re sorry to interrupt your day but some customers in #BB5 #Accrington may have no water or low water pressure. We're currently looking into the problem & we'll post further updates on our website https://t.co/1pfJl6Prb7. Thank you for your patience.

"We have one of our inspectors looking into this at the moment and as soon as we know what the cause of the problem is we’ll let you know.
"We’re sorry about this and will try and get your taps flowing normally as quickly as we can. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know what’s causing the problem."
