EMERGENCY services were called to a crash in Great Lever this morning.
The smash, involving a BMW and a Volvo, happened in Higher Swan Lane at about 11am.
Police, fire and ambulance all attended.
One person was treated for minor injuries at the scene, but was not taken to hospital.
The vehicles have since been recovered and the road reopened.
GMP Traffic tweeted: "A patrol was sent to a 2 vehicle RTC in @GMPBolton (Higher Swan Lane).
"Fire & rescue & Ambulance on scene.
"Luckily damage only looked worse than it was.
"Details exchanged.
"Vehicles recovered and road fully reopened."
