TWO veteran East Lancashire lawyers have reunited - 30 years after they first shared family law cases.
Sarah Bentley has recruited Elizabeth 'Libby' Reed, who worked in a senior role for the Crown Prosecution Service for three decades, to her eponymous firm.
She said: "It's both a professional coup and a personal joy to welcome Libby aboard.
"We have been colleagues and friends for many years and her vast legal experience speaks for itself."
Libby, who has been tempted out of retirement for the new part-time role, added: "Family law is where I first started and has always remained a key element in my work."
Part of her work saw her project manage the introduction of domestic violence courts in Lancashire and was later head of the crown court unit for Greater Manchester.
