A DENTAL firm has become one of the first tenants attracted by an East Lancs regeneration effort.
Valley Denture Clinic has relocated from Littleborough to King Street, in Bacup, as part of a Townscape Heritage Initiative (THI).
Kevin and Janet Abbott, from Weir, were happy with the renovation work carried out on the former KGs youth club site.
He said: “We saw the building and it was just perfect because it was ground floor, with two entrances and it offered the space we needed.”
Cllr Jackie Oakes, the THI interim chairman, said: “It’s great to see the improvements to Bacup are bringing in new businesses.”
The row, originally weavers cottages, forms part of the Bacup Town Trail. St James Square and Union Street also benefitted from the revamp.
