A theatre company is hoping to raise funds for a women's charity in time for International Women's Day.
Lancashire Women Players will be performing their production, Bryan, The Ditch and The Wardrobe at Oswaldtwistle Civic Arts Centre and Theatre on March 8.
And all proceeds from the sale of tickets will go to Lancashire Women, a leading charity for women and girls in Lancashire.
Last year more than 6500 women accessed the charity's services and more than 130 volunteers provided help and support.
The charity aim to empower women and girls to transform their lives and challenge stereotypes and misconceptions about them so that they can have choices in becoming the individuals they want to be.
The production in Oswaldtwistle is the third instalment of the play, which focuses on Bryan and his friends from a Working Men's Club as they become embroiled in a 'battle of the sexes' with a group of women from next door.
Writer and director, Moya O'Hagan said: "It’s International Women’s Day on March 8 and what better time to look back at women’s lives. We’re driving gender balance, and are urging people to come and join Lancashire Women Players and support Lancashire Women."
Tickets cost £7.50 and are available at any of the Lancashire Women centres across the county, or via the Oswaldtwistle Civic Arts Centre and Theatre website www.civicartscentre.co.uk/whatson.
