THE boss of one of East Lancashire's biggest firms believes his company would survive a no deal Brexit despite an initial financial hit.
Colin Mustoe, founder and chairman of the Altham-based office furniture manufacturer changed his mind during the 2016 Euro-referendum campaign and voted to leave the European Union.
He said yesterday: "I am in Germany now talking to clients about what happens after March.
"If there is a no deal Brexit, Senator will suffer significant financial consequences in the short-term.
"But that will right itself after about 12 months.
"It is time for the politicians to stop squabbling and thinking of themselves and sort something out."
Miranda Barker, chief executive of the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce said: "I am furious that the government has taken so long to start properly preparing for No Deal'.
"Whatever the outcome East Lancashire businesses will manage it.
"It would have been better if MPs has sorted it out on Tuesday and need to do so soon. Businesses need notice to make their preparations."
