A FAMILY has paid tribute to a well -loved grandma, mother and daughter found dead in a house in Burnley.
Detectives launched a murder investigation after 40-year-old Leanne Unsworth was found dead in a house in Marlborough Street in 7.15pm on Monday.
Ms Unsworth's family said in a statement: "Leanne was a well loved daughter, mum, niece and grandma who will be sadly missed. As a family we are trying to come to terms with this tragedy and kindly ask that you respect our wishes for privacy."
Two men, aged 38 and 39 and both from Burnley, were arrested in Wythenshaw on suspicion of her murder yesterday.
They continue to be quizzed by detectives today.
A post mortem examination has revealed the cause of Ms Unsworth's death to be head injuries.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
Det Chf Insp Zoe Russo said: “Despite these arrests, our investigation is still live and we need anyone with information to come forward. If you saw anyone in or around the area acting suspiciously, particularly between the hours of 5pm and 7pm, please get in touch.”
