DETECTIVES investigating the death of a father-of-four who had his ears sliced off have arrested two more people.
Sajed Choudry, 43, died weeks after being found seriously injured in Rhyl Avenue, Blackburn, at 10.35pm on November 27.
Four men and a 13-year-old boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, have already appeared in court charged with Mr Choudry’s murder.
Rafaqat Ali, 38 and Fazal Ilahi, 62, of Tenby Close, Blackburn, Sadaqat Ali, 36, of Rhyl Avenue, Blackburn, Syed Akbar, 44, of Cedar Street, Blackburn, and the teenager are also charged with attempting to murder Mr Choudry’s son, Ahsan Choudry.
Ahsan, 24, is still recovering from a serious hand injury.
However today, detectives have arrested two women, aged 34 and 35 who are both from Blackburn, on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
They are in custody at Greenbank Police Station..
