A MAN is wanted following the robbery of an international pizza chain in East Lancashire last night.

The robber threatened a member of staff at Blackburn's Domino's Pizza with a needle after entering the store at around 9.30pm. He then stole around £20 from the till.

Police were called to Infirmary Road at around 10.15pm after the man left the Royal Retail Park store in a dark-coloured taxi.

No one was reported injured but DS Sarah Hargreaves described the incident as traumatic for the worker involved.

Police have today released CCTV of a man they wish to speak with in connection to the incident. He has been described as white, late 40s to mid-50s, skinny build and around 5ft 8in tall.

DS Sarah Hargreaves said: “Luckily nobody was hurt, but this has understandably been a traumatic experience for the worker involved.

“If you saw anything or recognise the man in the picture, please let us know.”
