INSTEAD of a member of staff bringing his meal, a late night McDonald's customer who was asked to wait on the car park got a breathalyser delivered by a police officer.
Blackburn magistrates heard staff suspected Rocky Young had been drinking when he pulled up at the drive-thru in Ewood, Blackburn, and called the police.
Young, 29, of Ewood Caravan Site, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol.
He was banned from driving for 14 months, fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.
