BOSSES at a Burnley aerospace giant are celebrating after being recognised as a good place to work.

Staff at the 750-strong Safran Nacelles, in Bancroft Road, helped the outfit to score well in the Great Place to Work Survey.

Strategy and direction ratings improved by 22 per cent and employee wellbeing levels were said to be up by seven per cent.

Their overall index score was up by nine per cent.

Michael Rigalle, their new managing director, said: "Credit must be paid to the people who work at our site, who make the business what it is."

For every completed survey the firm, formerly known as Aircelle, donated £1 to a selected charity, raising £270 for Pendleside Hospice, £227 for MacMillan Cancer Support and £65 for Samaritans.
