From Angola, to Jordan, Oman to Rwanda, there are no shortage of countries where Rovers’ FA Cup tie at Newcastle United is being shown live.
The tie, which takes place on Saturday at St James’ Park, was scheduled for a 3pm kick off.
However, the Football Association agreed a string of television deals across the globe which saw it moved to 5.30pm. Indeed, only 10 of the 32 ties will get underway at 3pm.
Rovers and Newcastle will benefit from the switch, to the tune of £50,000 each, though the game won’t be shown in the United Kingdom.
But television networks across Africa, Asia, Europe and Central America will be showing the game between Rovers and Rafa Benitez’s side.
Below are a list of countries, and television networks, showing the game, between Rovers and the Premier League side.
The game will also see the use of VAR for the first time in the competition.
