MICHELIN-starred Northcote's legendary food festival Obsession is back for January 2019.
The event sees a virtual who's who of some of the world's top chefs invited to cook at the Langho restaurant for one night only.
This year bosses have invited 17 world class chefs to cook up a storm between Friday January 18 and Sunday February 3.
And with 15 Michelin stars between them, and eight nights already sold out, the event is looking set to wow food lovers from all over the county.
Created by Chef Ambassador Nigel Haworth and Managing Director Craig Bancroft as an homage to great food and fine wine, Obsession first took place in 2001, and since then it has grown into one of Europe's premier culinary events.
Each chef will take over the Northcote kitchen for one night to produce a unique Obsession Menu for the evening's guests.
Kicking off the 16-night extravaganza is Northcote's Executive Chef, Lisa Goodwin-Allen, who was promoted to the position in 2015 after almost a decade as Northcote’s youngest head chef.
Following Goodwin-Allen, will be another eight chefs from restaurants across the UK, including one of the country's newest Michelin star winners, Ollie Dabbous, from Hide in London.
Dabbous will cook for guests on Monday January 21, with fellow Brits Marc Fosh, James Lowe, Hywel Jones, Niall Keating, Andrew Wong, Romy Gill, Marianne Lumb and Nigel Haworth taking over the kitchen from January 23.
Perhaps topping the Obsession table though is Italian chef, Norbert Niederkofler, who has won three Michelin stars for his no-waste ‘Cook the Mountain’ approach to the food of the South Tyrol in Northern Italy, with The Michelin Guide saying that ‘his cuisine is a triumph of colour and flavour’.
The evenings start from £140 per person and include a Louis Roederer Brut Premier Champagne and canapé reception, and a five course signature menu, with wines to complement every dish.
