A DIVERSITY event will take place at a high school to discuss community integration.
Blackburn Central High School are hosting the event on January 7, where guest speakers will give workshops on cultural diversity. Working with the Ministry of Housing, Community and Local Government, and Blackburn with Darwen Council, in response to the national integration strategy, the school hope to encourage people to celebrate cohesion.
Guest speakers will include Penny Hobman, the Deputy Director of the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government, and Harry Catherall, Chief Executive of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council.
They will talk about cultural diversity and invite discussions on the matter. The event is £60 per delegate and tickets can be bought by contacting Allison Smith on 01254505700 0or email ASmith461@bchs.co.uk
