SLIMMING World members have dug deeper this Christmas and bought toys for underprivileged children in a borough.
Groups in Blackburn, Darwen and Rishton have donated several items, including sweets, chocolate and board games, to the local Secret Santa charity.
Secret Santa was founded by Phil and Karen Boulding over a year ago, who work alongside Blackburn with Darwen children's services to provide toys and gifts to help put a smile on children’s faces.
Local Slimming World consultants decided to get involved after finding out about it from consultant Zainab Rawat, who runs Blackburn's St Mary's College group.
Zainab said: “I had heard about this charity through other community work I also get involved with and thought to mention it as we were looking for something to do together as a team.”
