Tez Ilyas has shared details of a pilot to his new comedy 'Bounty'.

'Bounty' sees Tez arrive back in his home town of Blackburn and follows the story of a young man trying to balance the traditional and cultural expectations of his Asian family and community, with all the temptations and opportunity British life offers.

The comedy short on All 4 also features appearances by Man Like Mobeen's Guz Khan and Aatif Nawaz.

The title Bounty is sometimes used as an insult for someone dark on the outside but white on the inside, like the chocolate Bounty.

Tez said: ‘OMA! [Oh my Allah!]. I can’t believe that Channel 4 and production company Big Talk have trusted me with a Blap.

‘I hope people enjoy this as much as we did making it because I have so many more hilarious personal stories to tell and such a rich subculture to explore, which I’d love to show the wider world."
