BOLTON Wanderers players dropped by at Derian House Children's Hospice to spread Christmas cheer to all the children.

The first team squad visited the Chorley-based hospice donated wrapped presents and were given a tour of the site.

Forward Josh Magennis said it was an absolute privilege to visit Derian.

He said: "Unfortunately the kids here may not be able to come to football games.

"It’s a chance for us to come down and put a smile on their faces.

“We can sometimes be wrapped up in our own little bubble and today has been a humbling experience that has put things into perspective.

"It’s been an afternoon none of us will forget."
