DETAILS of pharmacy opening times over the festive Bank Holidays in Blackburn and Darwen have been published.
Many chemists shops will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Blackburn with Darwen Clinical Commissioning Group has now revealed which pharmacies will be open and when for minor medical incidents and needs.
A spokesman said: "Over the holiday period your local pharmacist can provide confidential, expert advice and treatment for a range of common illnesses and complaints, without having to wait for a GP appointment or having to go to hospital.
"First aid treatments for minor accidents such as plasters and antiseptic creams can also be obtained from the pharmacy."

Opening times on Christmas Day are: 4Court Pharmacy Blackburn Service Station, Whalley Banks, Blackburn - 11am to 7pm; Audley Late Night Pharmacy 114 - 116 Audley Range, Blackburn - 2pm to 11pm; Beehive Pharmacy Beehive Service Station, Beehive Trading Park, Blackburn - 11am to 11pm; Market Street Pharmacy, Market Street, Darwen, BB3 1PS 10am - 2pm; and Whalley Range Pharmacy, Whalley Range, Blackburn - 10am to 8pm.
