A WOMAN was taken to hospital with a suspected broken thumb this afternoon following a two-vehicle collision in Haslingden.
The accident happened at 3.55pm in the town's Brook Street.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue service spokesman said: "Firefighters from Rawtenstall and Haslingden attended reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.
"There was one female casualty with a suspected broken thumb conveyed to hospital and additional casualties were given precautionary checks by ambulance crews at the scene.
"Firefighters made the scene safe and were in attendance for approximately thirty minutes."
