A group of primary school children are spreading some festive cheer throughout their town this winter.
Pupils from Holy Trinity C E Primary School's choir took part in a carol service at St Peter’s Church, Darwen on Monday December 10.
The carol service was organised for Age UK and was attended by the Mayor of Darwen and the Mayor of Blackburn.
The school choir also got in the swing of things by singing at the Darwen Markets on Friday December 14.
Deputy Head Teacher, Joanne Abram said: "We are currently getting involved in different things in the community and we're all very proud of our school choir who performed for the first time this year at Holy Trinity Church carol service.
"We performed again at Darwen Markets on Friday and personally, it has been a pleasure for me to see the children sing their hearts out, and feel that enormous sense of pride when we work hard for something and it goes well.
"Our catch phrase is ‘we’re professional so we need to sound and look professional’, and I think they certainly pulled it off."
