BEN Elton is to bring his first stand-up tour in 15 years to Blackburn.
Tickets for the show in November next year go on sale on Monday.
Elton is widely regarded as one of the original 'alternative' comedians first making a name for himself on Channel 4's Saturday Night Live in the late 1980s.
As a writer he was responsible for two of the BBC's most popular series - The Young Ones and Blackadder. He has also become a best-selling author and wrote the West End hit musical We Will Rock You.
Now he is planning to come to Blackburn as part of a 57-date UK tour.
He will play King George's Hall on Monday, November 25. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Monday, December 10 from 0844 847 1664 or www.kinggeorgeshall.com
