A TUMBLE dryer caught fire yesterday evening.
Firefighters were called to the scene on Chapel House Road in Nelson at around 6.30pm.
The blaze involved a dryer in a building which was attached to a house.
A fire service spokesman said: "Crews used two breathing apparatus, hose reel and positive ventilation fan to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for forty minutes."
