THE line-up for next summer’s Sounds of the City event in Manchester has been revealed.
The Castlefield Bowl will once again host a series of concerts in July.
The Wombats will headline the first concert on Saturday, July 6 supported by The Night Cafe and Fuzzy Sun having complete and their biggest tour to date and with their most recent album, Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life, being acclaimed by critics and fans alike.
Local favourites Elbow will play on Tuesday, July 9 following a hugely successful arena tour this year.
Following two sold shows at Manchester O2 Apollo as part of a worldwide tour in 2017, The National will make as outdoor return next year on Wednesday, July 10.
International pop star Kylie Minogue will be performing a show packed with hits on Thursday, July 11 then on Friday, July 12, The Kooks will be headlining supported by The Sherlocks and Sea Girls.
Rounding off Sounds of the City, Hacienda Classical make what has become an annual visit to the Castlefield Bowl. Support comes from Inner City who are playing their first UK concert in over 20 years.
