CARE home staff arranged for a resident to fulfil a dream by going to a match at Turf Moor.
Kevin Fox, 43, moved into Hope House, Clayton-le-Moors, in October, and staff didn't waste any time in arranging for him to go to the Newcastle game on Monday.
A home spokesman said: "On admission he told us that he has been a lifelong Burnley supporter but not been able to afford to attend a game.
"Kevin has progressive supranuclear palsy which is a rare late onset neurodegenerative disease and requires 24-hour nursing care.
"Kevin had an amazing time at the game and says his dreams had come true. His biggest wish is to meet his favourite player Sam Vokes."
