THE hit musical The Bodyguard is to return to Manchester next Christmas.
X Factor winner Alexandra Burke will once again play the lead role of Rachel Marron in the show based on the Oscar nominated movie starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner.
Alexandra starred in the musical in London's West End and also in a major UK tour in 2015 and 2016.
She is currently appearing as Roxie Hart in Chicago in the West End.
The romantic thriller features hit songs including One Moment in Time, I Wanna Dance with Somebody and I Will Always Love You.
The Bodyguard will run from Tuesday, December 10, 2019 to Saturday, January 4, 2020. Tickets go on sale Tuesday. Details from www.atgtickets.com/Manchester
