PEOPLE who fell in love with Luna, the dehydrated and bedraggled dog rescued from a Greek holiday island, can buy a canine stocking to raise cash for the rescue hostel which helped them save her.

In August Blackburn residents Charlotte Hargreaves, 21, and Oliver Garside-Fox brought the black Labrador-whippet cross back from Halkidiki.

Now they have prepared doggy Christmas stockings to sell to raise money for r The Better Dogs Hotel in Thessaloniki which assisted in getting Luna fed, vaccinated and microchipped ready to be to the UK

They were prepared on last week with the help of The Collar Club (Luna’s doggy daycare) on Branch Road and Heights Farm Pet Foods.

Each costs £10 with £2 going to the Better Dogs Hotel.

The could still hope to reschedule the sponsored dog walk for the charity they had to cancel in September because Luna and their other two pet dogs got kennel cough in the New Year.
