A NEW one-day music festival dedicated to the best of house, bass, grime and techno is coming to Blackburn next summer.
Wonderwood will be held in Witton Park on Saturday, July 27 and will feature international rappers, DJs and producers performing on three stages.
The festival is being put together by the same team responsible for the highly-successful PierJam event in Blackpool and BassJam which has been staged at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.
Among the first wave of names announced for the event are UK grime king Bugzy Malone who has had chart hits including Clash of the Titans and Run in 2018.
The line-up also includes crossover stars and house royalty, Gorgon City; Manchester’s red hot, Mason Collective; Sam Divine who has played some of Europe's biggest festivals this year and New York house legend, Todd Terry. More big names are to be announced.
The event will run from 2pm until 11pm.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday from www.wonderwoodfestival.com
