THIS week we reviewed the stunning new Lawrence Hotel – so we thought we’d give you a rundown of some of the other top hotels in East Lancs.
You can read our full review of Padiham’s new luxury boutique hotel here or our summary below.
Now here are our top picks (in no particular order) for places to stay in this part of the county.
This list is by no means comprehensive, so if you think we've missed someone out then be sure to leave a comment below (keep it classy though)...

You can currently book dinner bed and breakfast there for £123.

Northcote, Langho
Okay, so we know you're probably not going to just nip to Northcote for a quick weekend break (£££££) ... but its worthy of inclusion on this list just because of how good it is - not to mention its Michelin star food.
Yes it will cost a pretty penny to stay (and eat) there - but if you have a milestone birthday coming up, or an anniversary, or you're in the dog house, then maybe, just maybe you can stretch to a stay there.
The Spinning Black at Homes Mill
Clitheroe's 1823 Spinning Block Hotel and the new 'Bistro, Bar And Grill at Holmes Mill' opened last year.
It was the latest phase of the £10million redevelopment of the former derelict textile mill, Holmes Mill.
The hotel features 38 bedrooms. You can have a closer look here with this report from its soft launch last year.
The Spa Hotel at Ribby Hall Village
Last but not least, this popular East Lancs destination.
The Spa Hotel at Ribby Hall Village, which is now in its sixth year of business, has just been awarded ‘Best for Customer Service’ at the national Good Spa Guide awards.
The village, which gets lots of visitors from East Lancashire, also finished as a finalist at the highly regarded AA Awards in London, finishing runner up to The Savoy London.
