THE Bluedot Festival held in the grounds of Jodrell Bank Observatory have pulled off a major coup by landing Kraftwerk as the Saturday night headliners for next year’s event.
The influential German act will bring a special 3-D live performance for its first UK headline festival performance following a limited number of sell-out UK theatre shows.
Kraftwerk have also performed the spectacular show at the Bilbao Guggenheim, New York’s Museum of Modern Art and London’s Tate Modern Turbine Hall.
Bluedot returns for Cheshire for its fourth year and will run from Thursday, July 18 to Sunday, July 21.
In previous years, headliners have included The Chemical Brothers, Pixies and The Flaming Lips plus high profile talks from the likes of Brian Cox and Richard Dawkins.
The first wave of artists appearing in 2019 will be revealed in January.
Weekend and day tickets will be available from 10am on Friday from www.discoverthebluedot.com
