A DISQUALIFIED driver was found to be in possession of a large amount of cash and suspected Class A drugs.
Police in Hyndburn stopped a grey Vauxhall Astra in the early hours of Saturday morning after it was spotted being driven in a concerning manner.
The driver was found to be disqualified and was travelling without insurance.
A further search of the vehicle by officers lead to a large quantity of cash and suspected Class A drugs being found.
A police spokesman said officer then searched the drivers home.
They said: "A search was then conducted at the drivers home address which turned up even more cash and further suspected drugs.
"All in all, officers have seized in excess of £6700 in cash and what is believed to be large quantities of three separate illegal substances.
"The driver of the vehicle is currently occupying one of Greenbank's en-suite rooms for one awaiting an interview."
