MORE than 1,400 homes in Blackburn and Darwen have been left without electricity this evening.
In Lower Darwen, 1,398 homes have been left in the dark while in Hollins Bank in Darwen around 80 have no electricity.
A spokesperson for Electricity. North West said an engineer is on the way to the site to establish what the problem is.
Issues were first reported at around 3.40pm and an estimated time of restoration has been logged at 5.30pm, though this is subject to change.
It is currently unclear as to why power is down.
