TRIBUTES have been paid to a popular window cleaner and Rovers fan who has died aged 52.

Blackburn Rovers fan Andrew Pearson died suddenly on October 27.

He was a well-known face in Accrington, cleaning windows of properties around the town centre, until he was forced to retire through ill-health.

His family said: “He will be remembered by many for his window cleaning around Accrington town centre, until ill health forced him to retire early. Dearly loved dad of Christopher and Daniel. Adored son of Pat and the late Alan, brother of Tony and brother in law of Bev.

“He will be sadly missed by all his aunties, uncles, many cousins and friends.”

A Requiem Mass funeral service will take place on Friday November 16 at 10.15am, at St Anne’s RC Church in Accrington followed by a burial at Dill Hall Cemetery.
