A nine-year-old is on the hunt for young testers to try out Burnley’s first ever indoor inflatable playground before its opening in December.

Amelia Heyes will select 10 children aged from five to 15 to try out the Air Limited playground when it opens at the former Pegasus drop zone on Craven Street.

Parents can nominate children on social media, by writing why they should be chosen with the hashtag #TesterTribe to @airunltdburnley.

Amelia was the first person to try out her Dad Callum Heyes’s trampoline park in Liverpool when it opened. Now, Mr Heyes is opening the playground to allow children in Burnley to have more things to do.

Amelia said: “I’m really into my gymnastics so I know what I like from a play centre, but I can’t test this one on my own – it’s going to be too big!

“I want the kids of Burnley to come and help me try it out and tell my dad exactly what they think of it. We need you!”

The father of two, said: “As a father of two young kids, I was getting really fed up with the same old play centres. I wanted to create a play park that my children would like, and that would cater for them at every stage as they grow up.

“Air Unlimited Burnley will have a different feel to the Liverpool site in that it’s purely an inflatable playground – the likes of which the town has never seen before.

“Who else would be the best to test it out than the children of Burnley? We want to see your most creative entries to secure yourselves a slot on our judging panel.”

Air Unlimited Burnley will be a 600sq-metre inflatable playground, and will include a dedicated toddler area, Sports Zone with football pitch and basketball court, climbing wall with drop slide, half pipe ninja wall, and turbine tunnel.
