A BURGLAR was caught on CCTV smashing his way into a clothes shop in Accrington.
The video shows him taking a rock and throwing it through the window of the store in Warner Street.
Dapper Menswear, which sells Mod clothing, was broken into on the evening of Wednesday October 24 and a number of expensive items, including Fred Perry designer jackets, were stolen.
A member of staff at Dapper Menswear said the stolen items totalled around £600.
He said: "They took £600 in coats and it will cost £800 for the window, but a lot of clothes were also damaged by glass."
Officers now want to speak to the man in the video in connection with the burglary.
A spokesperson for the police said: "If anyone recognises him, or the man himself sees this, please can you contact PC 1183 Graham Hartley or PCSO 7672 James Southworth on 01254 353103 or Crime Stoppers 0800 555 111 quoting crime number ED1825210."
