THIRTY-five new jobs look set to be created when Iceland move into a former Poundworld store.
The chain has identified premises in The Mall in Burnley for their latest venture.
Plans have been lodged with the borough council for a new shopfront and entrance doors.
Five full-time positions and 30 part-time openings have been pledged as part of the planning application.
Burnley's Poundworld closed last summer, as eventually did both the Poundworld and Poundworld Plus outlets in Blackburn Mall and their Accrington Broadway store.
Iceland also has another town centre site in Burnley, on the retail park off Active Way.
