A CAR was set on fire in a residential street.
Fire crews were called to Worsten Avenue in Blackburn at around 9.30pm last night.
A fire service spokesman said a flammable liquid had been poured over a Vauxhall Corsa on the roadside and set alight.
The spokesman said: "The car suffered severe damage.
"The police were called and are investigating as the cause of the fire is suspicious."
