A SUSPECTED football hooligan has been barred from watching Burnley FC games for a second time.
Thomas Pritchard, 27, has been served with a four-year football banning order by Pennine magistrates.
Lancashire Police had brought the civil action against Pritchard, of Cog Lane, Burnley, after a number of run-ins.
Police said the Clarets fan had allegedly “caused or contributed to violence” on several occasions at games, alone or with others, so he could be considered as “posing a risk to public order”.
Under the terms of the order, he cannot be seen within the vicinity of Turf Moor or Burnley town centre on matchdays, up to three hours before kick-off.
The ban, granted by magistrates, also applies to any Burnley away games and England fixtures.
He was served with a similar ban, alongside a second man, in 2011.
