A MAN was taken to hospital after a car crashed into a bus stop.
Paramedics were called to Blackburn Road, near Willow Street ,in Great Harwood, at around 9.20pm yesterday.
The road was blocked with traffic queuing as far back as Lee Lane.
A North West Ambulance Service spokesman said the man was taken to hospital with hand injuries.
The spokesman said: "Paramedics were called to a road traffic collision involving one vehicle.
"We initially sent two ambulances to the scene, however only one patient was treated.
"The man was taken to hospital with hand injuries."
A police spokesman said the car collided with a bus stop.
"There wasn't any other vehicles involved in the crash.
"No one was arrested and the road was closed off to let the paramedics work on the scene."
