POLICE arrested a man outside an Accrington town centre pub after he became abusive and threatening towards door staff.
Blackburn magistrates heard Tony Ricardo Savoini claimed it was the other way round and staff had been threatening him.
Savoini, 36, of Dowry Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly outside the Broadway pub.
He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
Scott Parker, defending, said his client was upset that the bouncers claimed he had threatened them when it was the other way round.
