A BRAVE woman and her friends are baring all in a naked calendar to raise funds for Pendleside Hospice.

Julie Conlan, along with 10 of her friends have posed in the nude in a bid to raise £4,000 for the charity.

The calendar 'Pose for Pendleside' features the girls in different themes which was shot at The Lawrence Hotel and the Mooch Cafe, both in Padiham.

Mrs Conlan, 47, said the calendar was something she had always wanted to do.

She said: "I wrote my bucket list this year and it was one of many things I had always wanted to complete.

"I mentioned the idea to a few of my friends and they were all up for it.

"We had a fantastic time taking pictures, the girls were really great and got into the spirit.

"One of the ladies's mum's is a cancer survivor and was supported by the hospice.

"My mother did a lot of fundraising in her younger days, she started the East Lancashire Scanner Appeal when I was 14.

"I'd like to thank everyone who has supported us, it has been a great journey for everyone.

"The photographs were taken by Sarah Redman, she was fantastic."

The calendars will be ready for sale from Conlan's Butchers, Mooch Cafe, Jack Jones Barkers, The Hardware Store in Padiham and Beautyful You in Burnley from Thursday.

The photographs were taken free of charge by photographer Sarah Redman.
