THE work of a French-born Clitheroe artist has just gone on show at the town's historic castle.
It current latest exhibition showcases the paintings of Cedric Charleuf, the winner of the 2017 Ribble Valley Open Art Exhibition.
A selection is on display until Wednesday January 2 in the Steward's Gallery of Clitheroe Castle.
The exhibition, entitled 'Le Corps, L'âme et L'esprit' will feature Mr Charleuf's winning traditional oil on board artwork Maat, Goddess of Harmony, Justice and Truth.
The French-born artist has exhibited in Paris, London and New York, and has now lived in Clitheroe for a several years.
He said: "I firmly believe that art can be powerful and beautiful, evocative and mesmerising, and doesn't have to be conventional."
