Who would have thought a fusion of acid house, gospel and blues could come together so well?
As Alabama 3 celebrate international recognition of their music through television and film, not least in the form of The Sopranos' opening theme, it seems hard to believe that these boys first got together at a rave in Peckham.
The music sways from programmed grooves and funk to gospel and grizzled country vocals, so its no surprise that guests range from The Proclaimers to MC Pablo.
It be just too eclectic for many listeners, but M.O.R. will suit anyone who appreciates music for its quality rather than its genre.
