A COMMUNITY volunteer will once again take to the streets to help elderly and disabled people change their clocks this weekend.

For more than two decades Faz Patel has helped hundreds of vulnerable people change their clocks forward in the spring and back in the winter by one hour.

Mr Patel said he wants people to come forward if they would like their clocks changing.

The clocks will go back one hour at 2am, marking the change from British Summer Time to Greenwich Mean Time.

Mr Patel said as well as clock changing, he aims to spend time with those who live in isolation and will be bringing tea and biscuits with him.

He said: "I've noticed as I've been doing this over the years that a lot of people live on their own and become very lonely.

"I have set aside time this year to have a chat with them and keep them company while on my rounds."

Anyone who wants Mr Patel to help change their clocks can call him on 07759 116340.
