THE KFC drive-through at a new set of services near Blackburn’s junction six of the M65 is due to open today completing the motorists' pit stop.
Final checks were under way yesterday prior to the halal outlet scheduled start to operations this morning.
The adjacent Starbuck's coffee drive-thru on the £100million 90-acre Frontier Park development by Euro-Garages on the Hyndburn/Blackburn border opened at the end of last week
Earlier this month the service area's BP petrol station, with Spar shop with Subway and Totally Wicked vaping concessions and Greggs drive-through outlet began operating.
Work is continuing on five warehouse buildings with 400,000 square feet of space as interest in taking space at the business park, due for completion by 2022, grows.
Alex Kenwright, development manager, said: "The service area looks smashing, It is great gateway to Blackburn.
"Interest is growing in taking space at Frontier Park and discussions are continuing.
"New firms are getting in touch regularly about coming on board.
"We expect to make announcements shortly.."
Frontier Park. which aims to create 2,000 jobs, also will have a 150-bedroom hotel, conference and banqueting centre.
