A MAJOR East Lancashire specialist support provider is holding a recruitment session those thinking of entering the caring profession.
The event will be on Friday November 2 from 10am to noon at the Care Network Hub in Town Hall Street, Blackburn.
The session is organised by Choice Care based on Furthergate in the town.
Andrew Key, the firm's managing director, said ‘We think that there must be a lot of people in Blackburn who would like to work in social care but don’t know enough about care work or are worried that they don’t have experience or qualifications. So, we are holding a recruitment event where people can find out more about working in community care.
"A common question is Don’t I need qualifications or experience to be a carer?’ The answer is no, but what you do have to have are the right values and character."
