SPOOKY fun and business will mix as the BID team meet and host a Halloween stall as they talk about their upcoming projects.

Colne's Business Improvement District (BID) team will meet on October 27 for a Halloween themed event, as they answer questions about the BID projects and spark debates.

Deputy Chairman, Emma Cornish said: "We want to let people, especially businesses, know what we are all about. Our Hallowe’en stall is just a bit of fun for children, but it also has a serious purpose: to inform.

"We also want to use this event as an opportunity to add to our list of potential projects, as our next few meetings will focus on brainstorming."

A Colne BID gazebo will also be manned by members of the BID team throughout the day. Halloween activities will include decorating ghoulish face masks and freakish biscuits.

BID Chairman Stuart Wilson said: "Behind the scenes, we are busy finalising all the necessary tasks we need to address before we can get our teeth stuck into the projects that will grow business in Colne."

The team also recently learned they have become a formally registered body at Companies House.
