A disabled woman who went missing from Chroley on Monday has been found safe and well.
Sandra Satterthwaite was found in Scotland on Tuesday evening.
On Monday October 22, police launched an urgent appeal after Miss Satterthwaite, 57, left a relative’s address on Harperley, Chorley.
She had not been in touch with her family to alert them to her whereabouts.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Her leaving and not making contact with her family is very out of character.
"She is also a double amputee and needs medication which we don’t think she has on her, so it’s important that we find her as soon as possible."
On Tuesday October 23, police released a statement to say Miss Satterthwaite had been found safe and well in Scotland.
